On Tuesday, May 7, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Gail Basle; son of George A. (Shirley) Basle and the late Mary Basle; brother of George Z. Basle; uncle of Nicholas Basle; nephew of Pauline Klein and Aliki Shindler; cousin of Anna Carroll, George Detsis, Mariann DeJames, Georgia Stewart, James Kappernaros and Ted Kappernaros; dear friend of Gary Markwood and Mark Reese. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Argyle Rec Center, 1030 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the ASPCA, P.O.
