Thornton (Packy); loving mother of Jane Thornton; daughter of the late Alice Yates and Frank Duell of Leonardtown, MD. Predeceased by her brothers Frank Charles Duell, Bernard Duell and Richard Duell of Clarksdale, MS. Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd. West. Silver Spring, MD, Wednesday, April 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with prayers in the evening. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Viers Mill Rd. Rockville, MD on Thursday, April 18 at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery, at a later date. Memorial Contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
