Beloved wife of the late Francis Furman; sister of June Mallow; mother of Helen George, Milton Heavner (deceased), Virginia Brown and Patricia Bassler; stepmother of Viola Lassen, Diana Skapars and Francis Furman, Jr.; grandmother of 29; great grandmother of 71; great great grandmother of 12.  Relatives and friends may call at  Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Friday, January 3, 2020, from 12 to 1 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m.; Interment  Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
