On Saturday, March 2, 2013, of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved son of the late Anna E. and Thomas S. Hartel; brother of Thomas A. (Marie) Hartel; uncle of Mark (Melaine) Hartel and Renee (Joe) Hiles; great-uncle of Brandon and Emily Hartel, Quinton, Austin and Braxton Hiles; nephew of Marie Bakos, Ann Ochkie and Maria Stoyka. Memorial Mass at the Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association , Washington, DC-MD Office, 1025 Connecticut Ave., NW, Suite 1005, Washington, DC 20036.
