On Thursday, May 23, 2013, of Potomac, MD. Beloved husband of 42 years to Susan Maier; father of Erin (Jeff) Dausch, Timothy (Beth) Maier and Christopher (Jeanine) Maier; grandfather of Zachary, John Paul, Mary Kate, Charles and Timothy Dausch and Matthew, Megan and Jack Maier; brother of John Maier of Greensboro, NC and the late Stephen Maier. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Dorothy O’Connell. Relatives and friends may call at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 1513 Dunster Road, Rockville, MD 20854 (at Falls Rd.) on Monday, May 27, 4 to 7 p.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 28, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael’s Catholic Church.
