Of Silver Spring, MD died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Holy Cross Hospital. Dear mother of June, Leisa and the late Oral; grandmother to Venessa, Gavin, Stephan, Demetria, Ryan, Nadria, Rashida, Tayia, Kashia and Katherine. She was affectionately called “Mama” by most due to her kind and nurturing ability. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD 20901 on Friday, May 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 18 at Rockville Church of God of Prophecy, 14180 Travilah Road, Rockville, MD 20850 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
