Born and raised in Utica, NY he moved to Silver Spring in 1968 after accepting a job as a Special Representative at the Grand Lodge Headquarters in Washington, D.C.  After nearly 40 years with the International Association of Machinists and leading the Collective Bargaining Department, he retired in 2002 to a big send-off.  No longer tied to a constant travel schedule, he and his wife Linda enjoyed spending summers in Ocean City, MD, a destination that became a gathering place for his growing family.   Life’s simple pleasures were his joy, especially sitting around the dinner table surrounded by his children and grandchildren, having a glass of wine and eating his wife’s traditional and delicious Italian Sunday dinner.  His presence in the family was strong, his wit was uniquely his own and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
