JAMES MICHAEL POWER

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Power, daughters Maureen (Michael) Sanelli and Laura (Michael) Kiley, and son Matthew James Power. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was the brother of the late Walter J. Power, Rita O’Brien, Henry Power, Helen Newman, and Thomas W. Power. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, April 18, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Annunciation, 3810 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC on Friday, April 19, at 11 a.m. Interment MD Veteran’s Cemetery – Cheltenham at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Foundation, Archdiocese of Washington, 924 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20001.
