Retired USN 22 years serving three tours in Vietnam and recipient of two Purple Hearts. Died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Rossell; father of Patricia, Marion “Rusty”, William, Melissa and Tonia; brother of Ruth Buchanan and Christy Heiden. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, April 26, 2013, 12 to 1 p.m. with Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment private.
