Beloved father of Michael (Kim) Whalen and Maureen Whalen; son of the late Bob and Jane Whalen; grandfather of Cailin Whalen; brother of Matthew Whalen, Mary Ellen Geissenhainer, Claire Whalen, Eileen Whalen, Richard Whalen, Teresa Whalen, Elizabeth Greaney, Thomas Whalen and Catherine Droege. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
